The Suzuki Kizashi saloon will go on sale in the UK later this year, the company has confirmed.
The Japanese company had previously been reluctant to offer it in the UK as it only comes with a 2.4-litre petrol engine and no diesel option. But it will now commence sales later this year at a rate of 500 units per year.

The saloon will be offered with four-wheel-drive, a market segment that more and more manufacturers are exiting; Suzuki feels the four-wheel-drive saloon market is a niche segment it can find favour with, stealing sales from the likes of Subaru and Vauxhall.
A CVT gearbox will also be standard for Kizashis sold in the UK. It is expected to be priced from £24,000, pricing it alongside top-spec front-drive Ford Mondeos and entry-level four-wheel-drive Vauxhall Insignias.
