The new Mercedes Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be priced from £62,650 when it goes on sale in the UK in October.

The flagship V8 S500 AMG long wheelbase car, putting out 449bhp and 700lb/ft of torque, costs £88,130. The S500 is the fastest of all launch models, getting from 0-62mph in 4.8sec compared to the 6.8sec taken by the S350 BlueTEC and S400 Hybrid.
