The third bodystyle in the Hyundai i30 range makes its public debut at the Paris motor show

The Hyundai i30 three-door has made its debut at the Paris motor show

The rakish hatchback has a more angular glasshouse than the five-door hatch and Tourer estate. It has a revised grille, fog lamps, daytime running strips and a reshaped lower bumper.

Changes to the rear include a new bumper and fog lamps. Standard-fit alloy wheels measure 16-inches in diameter.

The i30 three-door is based on the same technology which underpins the five-door and Tourer, including Flex Steer adaptive steering.

Four engines in five power outputs will be offered alongside six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. The emissions champion is the 126bhp 1.6-litre diesel which generates 97g/km of CO2.
