BMW is launching more tax-busting diesels this month. The 2.0-litre has been cleaned up to meet EuroIV compliance, saving company car buyers from the three per cent diesel surcharge.

The arrival of these cleaner engines will save 3-series buyers paying high-rate income tax from £235 on a 320td Compact up to £290 on a 320Cd SE Coupé. EuroIV compliance will soon reach more models throughout the range. The 530d, 330d and forthcoming 525d will also beat the taxman in March 2004.

In addition to the three per cent savings, BMW is still offering a free service and maintenance package for five years or 60,000 miles on all new 3-series diesels.
