Fancy Audi’s mighty Q7 off-roader but worried about fuel bills? Audi thinks it has the answer with a twin-turbo V12 diesel version – and we’ve driven it.
Audi says that the Q7’s different grille will ‘help’ autobahn traffic get out of its way. Editor-in-chief Steve Cropley agreed that ‘it had better’ after driving the 500bhp machine.
It totes 740lb ft of torque but does manage 23mpg on the combined cycle - a better result than the 15mpg average of high-powered petrol off-roaders.
