Honda is preparing to stun Tokyo show-goers with three futuristic concepts. The IMAS concept (pictured above) gives us a glance at the future of Honda’s light and sporty vehicles. The company’s use of a lightweight (700kg) carbonfibre body and sleek 0.20Cd aims to provide good manoeuvrability in an environmentally friendly package. An updated hybrid IMA system powers the concept.
Honda’s fuel-cell know-how has been paired with a six-seat saloon in the Kiwami concept(pictured right). Clever packaging has allowed a lower floor and roomy interior while maintaining a low overall height. This futuristic family car’s clean, smooth lines reveal Honda’s styling direction for their next generation saloon.
The ASM concept (pictured in gallery) looks to up the stakes in the large MPV segment. This eight-seater is inundated with more advanced technology and luxury than Honda’s current Odyssey, currently on sale only in Japan and the US.
