Chrysler readies Detroit concepts

Chrysler's looking forward to the new year already, with these two concepts that will be unveiled at January's Detroit motor show.

There's one Jeep concept, the macho-named Trailhawk, and one Chrysler, the Nassau.

Chrysler says the Nassau is a "four-door, four-passenger luxury coupe with an emphasis on driving dynamics." Sounds very much like a version of Merc's sleek CLS to us, and with Chrysler's history of borrowing bits from its German sister firm, such a car could easily be made.

The Trailhawk, meanwhile, would be based on the new Jeep Wrangler, but borrow elements from the more sophisticated Grand Cherokee.

Tune in in January for more news from Detroit.
