The Volkswagen ID 3 has had several specifications temporarily removed in the UK due to the ongoing international semiconductor crisis.
The electric hatchback is now available only in Life specification, which is based on the 200bhp ID 3 Pro Performance, equipped with a 58kWh battery capable of a 259 mile range.

It's quite amazing to think that during the World Cup when VW were running a promotion ( extra £1000 was it? ) on top of a typical VW discount, not to mention the government grant, I specced up a decent looking model and the price via a broker was £25k. Knew it was a decent offer at the time, dismissed it due to EV not being practical for us, but wish I'd gone ahead with it now. It was only when the offer was coming to an end that supply issues began to hit home, when the offer started they were talking 12wk delivery.
