New factory in Galicia is claimed to create 2000 jobs across Europe, with production to start in 2028

MG cars will be built in Europe for the first time in more than a decade when the firm opens a new manufacturing facility in Spain.

The historically British brand, which is owned by Chinese car making SAIC, will invest around €200 million (£172 million) on the construction of a new facility in the northwestern Galica region.
