Eterniti Artemis SUV has a top speed of 180mph and will cost £250k when it goes on sale in autumn

British tuning company Eterniti has revealed its 180mph Eterniti Artemis (formerly known as the Hemera) at the Beijing motor show.

Described by the firm as the “world’s first super-SUV”, the Artemis is powered by a Porsche Cayenne-sourced 4.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which has been tuned to produce 591bhp and 553lb ft of torque. Eterniti claims that the Artemis will dispatch the 0-62mph sprint in 4.5sec, with top speed achieved at 180mph.

External features of the SUV include hand-built carbon-composite body panels and large, lightweight 23-inch alloys clad in 315/25 low profile rubber.

Inside the cabin, the Artemis is finished with ‘quilted undercarpets,’ lambswool rugs, natural woods and carbonfibre. Kit includes heating and cooling twin reclining rear seats, iPad holders and a drinks chiller.

Production of the Eterniti Artemis starts in summer this year, with first deliveries expected in autumn.

Prices of the SUV start from £252,000, which represents a £165k premium over the turbocharged 493bhp Cayenne on which it is based. All cars will be covered by a two-year, 100,000-mile warranty.

Re: Beijing show: £252k Eterniti Artemis

Before you know it there will be copy-cat body kits available from your local boy-racer store which can be glued on to any old 2003 ten grand Cayanne! This has to be even more ugly than the Bentley SUV!!

My God.... It looks like the b*stard love child of Max Power magazine and the Euromillions jackpot. Who in their right mind would pay anything for that, let alone over 250k?
