Few exterior mods, but 320si gets special 18in alloys
A limited-run homologation special of BMW’s world touring car. A mere 2600 will be made available worldwide, and only 500 will be coming to the UK.
The Polo will get up to 134mph in the end, but its kerbweight of 1164kg limits its on-road pace
Not the GTi that its name and looks suggest it might be.
It remains to be seen how the Sedici's price will compare with the four-wheel drive SX4
The Sedici is reasonably able off the road and on it, though the two-wheel drive Suzuki SX4, which is essentially the same car, undercuts it on price.
The rear seats are easier to move around or remove than before
Excellent new engine and worthwhile interior mods, but now showing its age.
The standard 19-inch wheels give a ride just on the acceptable side of hard
Interesting, desirable and capable sporting alternative to a 320d.
The saloon retains double wishbone suspension at the back; neat handling
Honda's Civic Hybrid is much faster than the IMA and more fun to drive than the Prius. It lacks the refinement of the Toyota, but is cheaper to buy.
Appealing, competent and an admirably different exec. But strewth, £38k?

Good performance, and a decent car. But it needs fiscal incentives to succeed.

Decently priced, attractively styled junior soft-roader.
The Mégane is mechanically the same as the Cup - which means 60mph in 6.8 seconds
For £900 more than the Cup you get plenty of extras. Worth consideration if you can live with the colour and decals.
The B6 isn't as agile as the M6, but is a capable cross-country car
Every bit as desirable as the M6. Not as sharp, but a better grand tourer.
