Lamborghini has given the Murciélago roadster the LP640 treatment, and now it'll top 200mph.
Launched at the Los Angeles motor show this week, the LP640 roadster gets the same mechanical and cosmetic upgrades as the LP640 hard-top. That means new rear lights, a beefed-up body kit and a tweaked version of the V12 engine with 633bhp and 486lb ft. Top speed is increased to 205mph from 198mph, and 62mph comes up in 3.4sec, 0.4sec faster than before.
There's no word on pricing yet from Lamborghini, but with the LP640 hard-top costing £15,000 more than the standard car, expect the uprated roadster to weigh in at about £200,000. We want one.
