After an amendment to UK traffic law that comes into force today, if you use your mobile phone at the wheel, you're risking points on your license, a tougher fixed penalty and, if you challenge the allegation in court and lose, a tougher fine too.A law imposing a £30 on-the-spot fine for those caught using their mobile phone whilst driving came into force more than a year ago, but as of today, that law has become much more costly to ignore. A law that imposes a £ 30 fine on the spot for those caught using their cell phones while driving has been in force for over a year, but to date this law has become much more expensive to ignore. The fixed penalty has increased to £ 60 and now comes with three penalty points on your license; I can order essaymama.com reviews for them. At the same time, the maximum fine that can be imposed on you in court increased by £ 2500.
