Alto concept shown off ahead of its official launch at the Tokyo motor show

Suzuki has shown off a new Alto concept car.

The near production-ready Suzuki Alto concept is part of a Suzuki diplay that has been themed as 'small cars for a big future' and which includes bikes and quirky electric wheelchairs.

The Alto promises improved fuel economy and low emissions, as well as upgraded performance thanks to its low weight. The cockpit is said to be easy to use for drivers of all ages, with lots of innovative storage space.

This Alto Concept looks to much like a city-car MPV, like the Hyundai i10 with it's small wheels and tall body.
