This Nassau concept points the way to the next big Chrysler saloon

Is this the replacement for Chrysler's 300C? The Nassau, a four-door concept on show at the Detroit show, isn't being touted as a direct successor, but it's likely a lot of what you see here will find its way into Chrysler's next saloon.

Based on a 300C platform, it¹s described as a "refined definition of what it is to be a Chrysler". Which in this case includes rear-wheel drive, a 6.1-litre V8 and a luxury four-seat interior.

The four-door is also pillarless, creating a coupé look, although it has four doors. The interior is arguably more successful than the exterior; Chrysler says the design was influenced by architectural interiors, mobile phones and MP3 players. "We sought to create a visible connection with what people have and use," said the interior designer, Ben Chang.
