If you’re trying out a new car, you want to spend as much time in it as possible: it’s hard to form opinions by driving just a few short miles. So if you’re considering buying a new car, what you really want to do is to spend a week seeing how it fits in with your lifestyle.
As part of a Nissan video promotion, Autocar is giving a number of readers the chance to sample a Qashqai or X-Trail for an extended test. If selected, you’ll be given a car for a full week, along with an iPad so that you can keep a daily video diary of your experiences.
Once the week is over, we’ll collect the car and make a video of your experience that will feature on autocar.co.uk and whatcar.com. You’ll even get to keep the iPad as reward for your time.

If you make the shortlist we’ll be in touch for some more information. Entries must be received by midnight on Tuesday 21 June 2016. Winners will be judged on the quality of writing, reasons for wanting to try an SUV for a week and your current vehicle.
